She is best known for her expressive animal paintings which have become highly sought after. Her formal art training consists of art classes in high school and occasional workshops. Doreen has exhibited work in 6 solo exhibitions. Her most recent show, A Touch of Charm was held at Mortgage Hall, Middleburg, VA. She is a guest artist at the Ashby Inn and was a featured artist in Elan Magazine. She has been recognized in many local and juried exhibits and competitions, served as a juror for art shows, and as a board member for Great Falls Studios.
