Alicia is a joyful self-taught artist who has loved art ever since she could hold a crayon. Her work has been recognized for its expression and color. She was honored to win “First Place in Oils” at the Waterford Fair in Waterford, VA in 2019. The award-winning artist and judge who selected her painting liked the colors and brushstrokes so much, he said he wanted to the lick the painting.
Alicia is inspired by God’s beautiful creation, people, landscapes, and especially the beach. She has fallen in love with the beauty and uniqueness of the Outer Banks and sells most of her work at Love Duck in Duck, NC.
Her favorite painting subject is the challenge of a portrait and the runner up is colorful skies.
Alicia makes her home in Ashburn, VA with her family, which includes her husband, three kids, a dog and a kitty cat.
