Sandra Wachtel picked her brushes back up in 2023 getting back to a passion that has drawn her in with power.
Her local small town focus is genuine. Most of Sandra’s paintings take place in the village of Tomahawk, just over the mountain, where her father took all seven girls and their brother fishing and gardening on the weekends.
Painting in oils with a primary focus on fields, streams, wooded paths and barns keeps her grounded in places where she finds solitude.
Sandra is an Interior Designer and well versed in the principles of design including space planning, layout and color coordination. All of these play well in the balance of her work as well as life.
