Cindy Adams

Balancing realism with a touch of expressive abstraction is how Cindy Adams describes her paintings.

Cindy began painting in 2012, taking workshops from various Colorado artists, and credits her growth as an artist to her years spent with her mentor Doug Candelaria.

Cindy paints exclusively in oils, using knives as well as brushes to create texture and movement.   Her process explores how the natural can be complimented by the abstract.   Her favorite subjects are animals and figures.

In 2023 Cindy and her husband (along with a dog and cat) made a big move from Colorado to West Virginia.   Cindy is quickly establishing herself and her artwork, displaying her work galleries and shows.
