Angie painted a picture of a tree when she was eight years old. Her father praised her efforts and displayed it on the fridge. That’s when it started; her appreciation of landscape art. It wasn’t until 1996, while expecting the birth of her daughter, that she was driven to create the art she loved. She began painting with watercolor pencils and transitioned to traditional watercolor. Several years later, after taking two courses with artist and teacher, Don Black, she felt confident to explore different media, including acrylics. Although Angie’s not sure what style in which her art might be categorized, there are elements of impressionism and expressionism in her favorite subjects which are landscapes, clouds, and trees.
