William Travis

William “Bill” Travis has drifted in and out of painting depending on what stage of his business career he was in, but he has always had the goal of being an artist when he grew up. Now retired, that goal has come within reach. He was fortunate to have a very talented art teacher in high school. He went on to get a BFA degree from the College of Fine Arts at Rochester Institute of Technology in the seventies. Bill is a lover of all things old - old houses, old boats, old cars - and he lives in a converted 1850 stone church with his wife, Sally, and Hazel, their chocolate lab.
