Connie has worked for museums as her career as an Exhibit Specialist.
Her degree is in Art (Illustration and Design) but she's been working in Paleo Vertebrate labs prepping fossils for exhibits or full skeletal mounts. She also makes molds, casts and paints fossils for exhibits or research.
She started at The Academy of Natural Sciences in Philadelphia, and then came to Washington DC to work at the Smithsonian Natural History Museum.
She's currently working for the Calvert Marine Museum.
She found a love of clay almost a decade ago. It’s a passion.
Her work in clay has been exhibited in
Baltimore Clayworks Teapot expo twice.
Once in 2022 (IX) and then again in 2024 (X).
You can find her work at The Little pottery Shop in Frederick.
For the past 3 years she's been teaching at The Frederick Clay Studio and The Columbia Arts Center. I teach hand building, wheel and a sculpture class.
I live in Frederick Maryland.
