Anna Katalkina is an oil painter based in McLean, Virginia, specializing in small-format still life. Influenced by the 17th-century Dutch Masters, she works in the indirect painting method, creating detailed, luminous compositions that blend classical realism with a contemporary touch.
Anna pursued her artistic education at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and the Corcoran College of Art and Design. She further refined her skills through workshops at the Grand Central Atelier and the New York Academy of Art.
Her work has been exhibited for over 23 years in the Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia area, as well as across the United States and internationally in Paris. She has received multiple awards for her paintings, and her solo exhibition was featured in The Washington Post and other local publications. Her work is held in private collections in the U.S., the U.K., and France.
Anna Katalkina is a member of the Arts Club of Washington and the Professional Artists Association, as well as Board Member of the McLean Art Society.
