Dan’s passion for the arts has been a constant throughout his life. With an equal love for both technology and creativity, he’s always balanced the traditional with the digital. From lettering and calligraphy to typography and graphic design, graffiti and tattoos to video art and interactive installations, his work spans a wide range of mediums. He spent 15 years in New York City, working for interactive firms and up to Madison Avenue advertising firms, all while going to every gallery show every week for all the inspiration he could absorb. Eventually he returned to the DMV area where he was born and raised, to currently settling in the Shenandoah Valley, where his more recent work explores expressive ways to capture the nature and life in the valley. His artistic journey is gaining momentum, and with joining the Valley Educational Center for the Creative Arts (VECCA), in Woodstock, playing a key role in his recent artistic adventures.
