Anne West is a graphic designer, illustrator and artist based in Bethesda, Maryland, has been drawing on everything she could get her hands on since the age of three. After years of working as a designer in both publications and, most recently, as lead designer for a national retail birding company, she is now turning her attention more to her illustration and art. Her focus is to portray her love of nature through pieces that capturing the emotion, beauty and whimsy that can be found in all things living. Her preferred media are colored pencils and pastels on a variety of paper and wood, while also exploring watercolors and acrylics as well.
