Jennifer Eddy

Artist’s bio

Jennifer. Eddy

In all her schooling, Jennifer Eddy preferred to see the unexpected beauty in life. She preferred drawing horses to algebra , trees and flowers to  biology, drawing people  to reading English literature!  But she loved all phases of art class!

From early schooling, oil paint and canvas  became her means of creating  a  lasting glimpse of beauty that gave the viewer respite from the daily rounds of life. The innocence of baby chicks, the mystery of lush flowers sprung from green, the complacency of a fat hen, the hidden history of an  antique vase, so many things that give a mini vacation at a glance! And she paints to honor. Tough service airman securing  a foreign airstrip, middle eastern warriors burning tires at the Gaza Strip, , extremes of passion  and courage hidden from the eyes os those who stay at home!

Jennifer currently shows paintings at Roots in Lucketts, and shows at local venues such as  Art at the Mill in Millwood, Va.  She has studied with  Judith Thompson at Schhipp Hill Studios, and Steven Walker and other artists  in England and the US.
